One grain becomes seven hundred

Surah Al-Baqara · 2:261
Meaning (M. Pickthall, 1930): The likeness of those who spend their wealth in Allah's way is as the likeness of a grain which groweth seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains. Allah giveth increase manifold to whom He will. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.
The reflection
One grain becomes seven hundred.
In the chapter of the Cow, those who spend their wealth in God's way are like "a grain which groweth seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains".
Seven times a hundred: seven hundred. Ibn Kathir notes the image moves the heart more than the number seven hundred alone, because God grows good deeds as He grows a crop sown in good soil.
"Allah giveth increase manifold to whom He will." Al-Sa'di: according to the giver's sincerity and truthfulness. And God knows best.
